News:

Hey guys! so the summer has ended, and the new fall semester is beginning! So for those of you who don't know what AED is about, we are the only pre-med honor society on the UH campus! Feel free to browse the site, get to know our officers, check out what we've done in the past years, it's a treasure trove of info in here! So first things first, we do have a couple of upcoming events. Our first one will be the Memory walk on september 13th. This is in benefit of the wonder Alzheimer's association, and we will be helping them out in whatever way we can. After that we will have the annual Susan G. Komen Race for the cure event. The orientation is september 18th and the event is october 4th. We have been helping with this event for years now, and lets help make this one the best yet! On October 18th we will have a volunteer carwash at CVS (4700 Kirby drive). All proceeds will go to aed so we can have more kickass banquets and socials :P

Speaking of socials, the annual welcome back social will be held early september in conjunction with the other pre-health groups at uh. As the details solidify they will be posted.
Well guys, hope to see you at the coming meetings, the first one will be in a few weeks, and lets jump start this fall semester with a bang!
